A two-vehicle collision at one of the most dangerous intersections in St. John’s late Monday evening caused substantial damage to both vehicles, but resulted in no reported injuries.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, at the intersection of Prince Philip Drive and Allandale Road shortly before 9:15 p.m. on Monday evening. The crash caused significant damage to both vehicles involved, with one of the cars coming to a stop a short distance away.

Paramedics with Eastern Health assessed the drivers of both vehicles, who were the only occupants, however neither required further medical attention.

Traffic was slowed in the area for close to an hour until the scene could be cleared.
