The College of the North Atlantic had a 10.3 per cent jump in enrollment this year with more than 6,000 students, the largest student body since 2016.

The college says the increase comes from several new program offerings and extra sections of existing classes. International student enrollment saw an 80 per cent increase with 671 international students this fall, a record high.

The previous high was 375. The programs seeing the highest increases are early childhood education and practical nursing.
