Accused sex offenders back in court next week – NTV

Two men who, police say, sexually assaulted and exploited youth in the metro area for several years are due back in provincial court in St. John’s this week. Tony Humby and Bruce Escott are scheduled to have their cases called before a judge on Tuesday. The RNC laid a new sex-related charge against Humby on Friday. It relates to another complainant and adds to the already dozens of charges the 63-year-old man faces involving a number of other complainants.
Humby’s charges include sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual interference and forcible confinement.
He has a trial set for Nov. 14.
Co-accused, 80-year-old, Bruce Escott faces 10 similar counts. he has yet to enter a plea.
The men, who are neighbours on Hussey Drive, are alleged to have lured youth, exploited them and sexually abused them for almost two decades.
