The famous British sitcom, Mr Bean has hit the big screen for the first time after staying away from the camera for almost a decade. Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis had created this sitcom and it starred Atkinson as the title character.
The episodes were broadcast on TV from the pilot project that started in 1990. This comedy icon has earlier been into movies and he left the big screen in 2006.
Now, after a gap of 10 years, he is making a grand comeback in a brand new movie, his first since 2006. The title of the movie is “Mr Bean’s Holiday”. Fans are full of excitement and look forward to seeing more of Mr Bean.
Though this character rose to enormous fame and has fans all over the world, the comeback movie will be available only in China. That is irking the fans elsewhere in the world.
Funny man Rowan Atkinson put on his popular tweed jacket and red tie for attending the premier of the film Top Funny Comedian. he played his famous character Mr Bean, opposite Chinese stars Guo Degang and Yue Yunpeng.
The movie “Top Funny Comedian” is expected to be a big hit with Mr Bean’s Holiday in China.
The body language of the character, Mr Bean, makes him highly funny and adorable and is known in Asia as Mr Foolish Bean.
Guo had revealed that he and Atkinson communicated mainly through body language during the making of the film, as he doesn’t speak English well.
The power of rousing interest and making people laugh merely through facial expressions and gestures goes on to prove that comedy knows no limitations and boundaries of language or even culture.
Bean’s last major appearance was at the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony where the infamous klutz helped perform the iconic Chariots of Fire theme. He’s also appeared in a Snicker’s advert presumably because Rowan Atkinson wanted to buy a car or something else nice.
