This is story of Lily Beddall’s a two-year-old adorable baby girl, she was cursed with Down syndrome but recently she has been fortunate like god has shown his grace to her, as her picture is now on show in every one of the chain’s 217 UK stores and her mother has said “it’s the best thing to have happened” to them.
This adorable two-year-old girl suffering from Down’s Syndrome has won a nationwide modelling contract with fashion retailer Matalan for kids clothing series.
Lily is from Sawbridge, Hertfordshire, who is among the youngest children in the UK to be ‘changing the face of beauty’ for fashion brands. Mrs Beddall, her mother was a former proofreader, now she is a full-time homemaker because of her little baby girl condition.
She said in an interview: “The contract is all about inclusion and changing the face of beauty. It is wonderful that Matalan chose a child with Down’s syndrome”. She also added, “We are so proud of her and we are so proud of everything she has achieved”.
Down’s syndrome is a genetic condition that causes some level of learning disability and physical problems. Around 775 babies are born with the condition each year in England and Wale.
