Apple Releases Iphone 7 Red And You Can Buy This Week To Contribute Fight Against AIDS

In the field of technology Apple is always on top position, basically, it is the king of gadget industry. Apple has introduced a new color option for its iPhone 7 that is Red, breaking its traditional color range. This famous company is coming with new fancy change.

From Friday, March 24, the iPhone will be available in a red aluminium finishing, this is an insignia of Apple’s partnership with (RED) foundation, that raises money for eradicating HIV/AIDS as a global fund.

Previously Apple has  offered red cases for the iPhone,  but this is the first time the handset is available in red.


Apple CEO Tim cook in an interview said that

“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED. Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.”

The companies who have agreement with(RED), agrees to donate a portion of their profit  to the Global Fund whenever consumers buy (RED)-labeld products. Total profit is then used to help the  people infected with HIV, mostly those in sub-Saharan Africa, with antiretroviral medications with hope to save lives.

Till the date (RED) has raised more than $465 million for the Global Fund, $130 million of which has come from Apple, making it the largest corporate donor to the Fund.


The phone comes in 128GB and 256GB models, with pricing starting at $749. However in this change  also includes iOS 10, which incorporates new features into Messages, new ways to use Siri in conjunction with desired apps, and redesigned Maps, Photos, Apple Music, News, and Home apps.
