Adorable Hug From An Owl To Person Who Rescued It

GiGi, the owl not only recognized her rescuer but also attempted to reward him through a very kind and heartfelt gesture. She gave a warm hug to her rescuer. In an unfortunate incident, GiGi had suffered a massive head injury and trauma after being hit by a vehicle in Mississippi.

This great horned owl had almost lost her life when she was brought to Wild Heart Rescue center in Mississippi.

Missy Dubuisson, the rescue’s founder had said at that time, “This bird was one of the most critical we have ever taken care of. The fact that this bird has lived is beyond comprehension.”  In a very pleasantly surprising fashion, GiGI started responding well to her treatment and recovered slowly from the head trauma.

It was such a satisfying experience for the rescue team there to see her get better day by day, albeit slowly.

The person who took extreme care and made the bird recover was Douglas Doug” Pojeky, also known as the “birds of prey whisperer.” He took great care of the bird and made the impossible task attainable.

“In all my years of working with birds of prey, I have never seen someone with such a bond with these magnificent birds,” explained Dubuisson. GiGi had great trust in Pojeky . GiGi was very joyful to see Pojeky return to the rescue after his to see his family in Michigan. It was obvious that she was very happy to have him back.

How did she express her excitement? Well, she showed her moves by dancing around in happiness, she rested her tiny head on his shoulders as if to hug him. It was indeed such an emotional sight to witness that all those who saw the bird express her happiness on Douglas’s return, had tears in their eyes.  The trust that the bird has in him is immense. it was a sight to behold!.

The rescuer, Pojeky had taken care of the owl with so much affection and love that she showered him with hugs when she saw him again after his short trip. She expressed her thankfulness for him so well! Pojeky had successfully provided the bird, loving and kind care that helped her recover from that major head trauma.

The language of love is clearly understood by all, be in humans or animals, and a little act of kindness never goes in vain. It can make a huge impact and bring about a great difference in someone’s life. Animals know when they receive love and care, and they never forget to show their gratitude and thankfulness.

Surely this story will encourage us to be more compassionate towards other creatures co-existing with us in this world. The universe surely needs more people like Pojeky.
